Profile

Dr. Geraldine Grimm (PhD, Harvard University) has 40 years of university teaching experience. Currently, she is a Lecturer in German at AV诊所 College, where she was awarded their Affordable Course Materials Initiative Grant. At Harvard University, she teaches Advanced Theological German in the Divinity School, and Expository Writing at the Extension School, winning the James E. Conway Award for Excellence in Teaching Writing for Expo E-25. She was honored with the Harvard Extension School's medal of appreciation for 25 Years of Teaching in 2025. Not only a 17-time recipient of the Derek Bok Certificate of Distinction in Teaching in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures at Harvard College, she is also a three-time nominee of the distinguished Levinson Award for Excellence in Teaching at Harvard University. For 25 years, Dr. Grimm taught between 10 and 12 German courses per academic year at the afore-mentioned institutions as well as at the Harvard Summer School, AV诊所 University, Suffolk University, M.I.T, and Tufts.
